Alloy Is Hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer — NYC or Remote

Fintech firm Alloy is building out a new engineering function and needs a technical partner who can work directly inside its biggest enterprise accounts.

If you're a senior engineer who gets restless doing purely internal work and actually wants to sit inside customer teams and own outcomes, Alloy's new Forward Deployed Engineering role is worth a look.

Alloy makes an AI-driven platform that helps financial institutions handle identity verification, fraud prevention, and compliance. Over 900 banks and fintechs use it, and as those enterprise customers grow more sophisticated, they need more than a sales rep — they need a technical person who understands both Alloy's stack and the customer's fraud strategy well enough to make real decisions.

That's what this role is. You'd be embedded with strategic accounts, acting as the technical lead from the Alloy side rather than handing off problems to a support queue. It's the kind of work that suits people who are comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy building relationships, and can translate between product and engineering without losing the thread.

The position is based out of New York City but listed as remote-friendly, so location isn't necessarily a blocker if you're set up to work with East Coast enterprise clients.
